Sentence beginning “we see the logic”⁷⁸ refers to paragraph 4 of your 485⁷⁹ beginning “Regarding destroyers”. We indicate in the sentence referred to that we will consider any proposal British may make to end difficulty in which they find themselves in respect to qualitative limitations of destroyers, suggesting in the same sentence a general method of solution by transfer between destroyer and cruiser (b) categories.
