The Ambassador in Turkey (Skinner) to the Secretary of State

25. Maiotis with Insull still in port. All now depends on the rapidity with which the court acts and its acceptance of our indictment as adequate. The Greek Government has protested against the detention of the ship. The Turkish Government has replied that ship is free and remains voluntarily.

Skinner
