- No objection is perceived to the Chamber of Commerce itself asking the Bank for the information it desires and to your giving the request informal support if the information is not forthcoming within a reasonable time.

- Separately acknowledge receipt of Chamber’s telegram of May 12 to the President regarding Brazilian exchange stating it will receive due consideration but that the primary purpose of the visit of special delegation is to discuss matters to be considered at Monetary and Economic Conference31 rather than any bilateral arrangement with this Government.
