71. The Bolivian Minister in Asuncion was given definite instructions on Wednesday night to leave at once if Paraguayan reply was [Page 744] unsatisfactory and the reply has been so considered here. The Bolivian Foreign Minister stated last night that the Minister would have to leave today if it were on foot but the Foreign Office has at this date received no advices of his departure nor has the Paraguayan Minister here received instructions.
