14. At secret session this afternoon, referred to in my 12, January 23, 11 a.m.,1 members of the Council decided:
- (1)
- The General Conference shall meet February 2, 1932;
- (2)
- The place shall be Geneva provided adequate facilities are offered as to hotels, meeting places, telegraph lines, et cetera;
- (3)
- The chairman of the Conference to be named at a later sitting of the Council (this means not before May);
- (4)
- The preparatory work for the General Conference to be carried on by the rapporteur Quiñones de León and the Secretariat between now and the session of the Council in May.
These decisions are being put in the form of resolutions tonight and it is contemplated they will be submitted to the Council meeting tomorrow morning for formal adoption.
