Situation now thoroughly in hand. Five destroyers arrived from Chefoo and Admiral Anderson on Flagship Huron reached Yokohama this afternoon. All American survivors Yokohama on ships and in safety. Embassy evacuated 140 American tourists Tokio today on American destroyers and 21 British tourists.

Relief ships being landed [loaded?] in Tsingtau and Manila. Arrival of fleet dispels danger of hunger among Americans.
