Sir: The Department acknowledges the receipt of your despatch No. 487 of September 27, 1923, concerning the Instrument of Ratification by the Venezuelan Government of the Extradition Treaty recently concluded between the United States and Venezuela, and the additional article thereto.

The Department accepts the suggestion made by Venezuela as indicated in the memorandum enclosed with your despatch No. 417 of July 18, that the English text of the Instrument of Ratification by Venezuela following the Spanish text may be copied and certified to by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

You are instructed, therefore, to recall this matter to the attention of the Foreign Office with a view to securing the English text of the Instrument of Ratification by Venezuela appropriately certified as indicated in the memorandum referred to above.
