The Secretary of State to the Chinese Minister (Sze)

My Dear Mr. Minister: Referring to your communication of April 13, 1922, and my letter of acknowledgment of the 25th of the same month, I am now enabled to inform you that according to advices received from the appropriate diplomatic officers of the United States, all the Powers concerned have given their assent to the postponement of the meeting of the committee on extraterritoriality, as requested by your Government in order that it may complete the work of a technical character needed.
