127. The following is from Canton:
“April 1, 8 p.m. C. C. Wu informs me it was decided at Mukden, Sun to be President, Tsze [Tuan?] Vice President with elimination of undesirable Anfu element, Government to be formed on federal lines, new Parliament to take the place of old Parliaments, Chang to support Sun with Liang as Premier. Hsu and Wu Pei-fu must accept or be eliminated.” (signed) Huston.24
