79. I expect to have the notice of the invitation of the three Presidents to the conference published in the local press this evening. I have received nothing from Managua regarding the date but a telegram from Tegucigalpa states that President of Nicaragua desires conference on the 19th and that this date is agreeable to the President of Honduras. I have accordingly asked the President of Salvador for that date and he has accepted provided nothing serious occurs to prevent. We shall leave this city by special train Friday morning and hope to sleep on the Tacoma that night.
