The Rumanian Chargé (Nano) to the Secretary of State

The Roumanian Chargé d’Affaires ad interim presents his compliments to the Secretary of State and pursuant to his note of October 18th, No. 4415/2,34 has the honor to state that his Government has designated Mr. Eftimie Antonesco, counsellor of the Roumanian Supreme Court (Cour de Cassation), formerly technical delegate to the Paris Conference and the conferences of Vienna and Rome, and Mr. Antoniade, formerly Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice and now president of the Commission for the Consolidation of Treasury Bonds in Paris, to conduct the proposed negotiations concerning the indebtedness of Roumania to the United States, and that they will shortly proceed to Washington.

It appears, therefore, that Mr. Filitti’s appointment has been cancelled.35
