The Shah sent for me this afternoon and expressed the hope that now that the British financial advisers had definitely severed their connection with the Persian Government it might be possible to obtain Americans to take their places. His Majesty then reiterated some of the statements reported in the Legation’s 35, June 21, 4 p.m.
