Consular Agent Saxe reports increasing aggravated conditions in Puntarenas, including forcible search by soldiers of one American home and an American seaman robbed of $40 by Tinoco soldiers. [Page 845] Also continued fighting on the Nicaraguan frontier. He suggests, and I strongly recommend sending naval vessel Puntarenas, at least for time. Castine must go to Colon for repairs.
