Informed that Peruvian Consul at Iquique who is blamed for recent troubles was asked to leave that city yesterday. Also that all [Page 125] Chilean consuls are being recalled from Peru as a matter of precaution. Government here greatly worried over situation. Believe proposition will be made to grant port to Bolivia.
