Sir: I have the honor to report that a few days ago instructions were sent to the Colombian chargé d’affaires at Lima to notify to the Peruvian Government Colombia’s denunciation of the modus vivendi concerning the boundary between the two countries. Word was received to-day from the charge that these instructions had been complied with.
