Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your notes of the 15th and 26th ultimo; also of the 15th instant, all relating to the alleged violation of the neutrality laws of the United States.

In reply I have to say that copies of these notes were promptly transmitted to the Attorney-General, that from you of the 15th instant having been communicated to him yesterday.
