Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your excellency’s letter of the 29th ultimo, with which was inclosed an exemplified copy of a resolution of the Venezuelan Congress, under the same date, expressing appreciation of a resolution of the Congress of the United States, approved February 20, last, whereby that body earnestly recommended to the favorable consideration of both the parties in interest the reference to arbitration of the boundary dispute between Great Britain and Venezuela.
I shall be pleased to bring your letter and its inclosure to the knowledge of the President.
