Sir: Referring to your No. 180, of November 3 last, concerning the claim of the Hydrographic Commission of the Amazon, I have to say that before the opening of the Peruvian Congress, which, as stated in your No. 180, will take place on July 28 next, it will be well to call the attention of the foreign office to the claim, and to urge that it may be again recommended to Congress.
