Schley to tender evidence in accordance with the telegraphic instructions of November 1, and that the United States consul at Valparaiso reports that the same judge who would not allow an officer of the Baltimore/to be present permitted the secretary of the German consulate to attend the investigation of the killing of a German man-of-war’s man, which took place last month.
