Sir: The Mexican Congress adjourned yesterday. The important work done during the session was:

- Making an appropriation for the expenses of a legation at London.
- 2.
- Authorizing a settlement of the public debt.
- 3.
- Authorizing the President to contract a loan of twenty millions of dollars.
