Mr. Blaine to Señor de Zamacona.

Sir: I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your note of the 13th instant, in further relation to the outrages committed by outlaws along the frontier districts in Mexico from the Territory of Arizona, and suggesting in the interest of peace and prosperity between the governments of the United States and Mexico that measures be speedily taken for the suppression of the depredators.

Accordingly, I have the pleasure to inform you that a copy of your note has been communicated to the Secretary of the Interior, for his information and such future action as he and the authorities of the Territory of Arizona may be able to pursue to the desired end.
