The cruel assassination of President Lincoln, the pious ruler of our sister republic beyond the ocean, has awakened feelings of sympathy and the deepest indignation in our patriotic hearts. We have therefore unanimously resolved to express our approbation of the general address of sympathy and condolence to the people of the American Union, Enclosed is a list of the signers.
