Most Excellent Sir: There having been represented by the Señor Deputy Henrique Ferreiro de Paula Medeiros, at the session of this Chamber, on the 3d instant, a resolution tending to give a manifestation of feeling in regard to the wicked assassination of the worthy President of the United States of America, I have the honor to send you a copy of the said resolution, to the end that you may cause it to reach the knowledge of the representative of that government at this court, with the declaration, that it may have its full effect, that it was unanimously approved by the Chamber.
