In the light of yesterday’s discussions with Vice President Mubarak,² it would be useful to have a prompt review³ of the practicalities of enhanced U.S. military assistance to Egypt, perhaps stretched out over a somewhat longer period of time. The President would like to have the above by the time of his return from Vienna.⁴ (S)
