243. Editorial Note
On November 13, the United States and India concluded a new agreement under Title I of P.L. 480. Under the terms of the agreement, the United States agreed to finance the sale to India of approximately $238.8 million of commodities, including wheat, cotton, tobacco, and feedgrains, plus ocean transportation. The agreement was signed in Washington by Assistant Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Thomas C. Mann and Indian Chargé D. N. Chatterjee; for text, see 10 UST 1882.
