445. Editorial Note
On September 2, Ambassador Lodge in an address to the 40th Convention of the American Legion announced that the President had instructed him to include the subject of outer space at the next regular session of the United Nations General Assembly. He concluded that [Page 866] section of his address by saying that he hoped the U.S. proposal would get the support of other nations.
