In a conversation the other day which I had with Mr. Dulles, he referred to a visit paid him in New York by Mr. Krishna Menon of the Indian Delegation. Mr. Dulles said that Mr. Menon sought to secure concessions from him on the American stand on the prisoner of war question. Mr. Dulles said that he gave no encouragement whatsoever to Mr. Menon on this matter.
