Editorial Note
At a meeting of the Ankara Pact Foreign Ministers in Bled, Yugoslavia, August 9, the Treaty of Military Alliance between Greece, Turkey, and Yugoslavia was signed. Known thereafter as the Treaty of Bled, the alliance entered into force upon final ratification by the three parties on May 21, 1955.
