The Norwegian representatives confirmed that Norway will vote for the Soviet package proposal for simultaneous admission of 14 applicants. [Page 984] They voted for a similar proposal in 1951 and abstained last year only because they did not want to “prejudice” the work of the commission then being set up. Although I pointed out that this year we are also setting up a new commission whose work could be prejudiced by such a vote, they remained unconvinced.
