It is UNA’s position that we should decide now to support Van Kleffens for the presidency of the ninth GA and so advise the Netherlands Government. Attached is a draft cable to the Secretary requesting his concurrence in this position. Could we please have your clearance or comment on the draft as soon as possible.2
