In a letter dated January 12, 1953, Benjamin V. Cohen, Deputy United States Representative on the United Nations Disarmament Commission, submitted his resignation to President Truman. At [Page 1056] the same time, Cohen presented a report to the President on the work of the Disarmament Commission and the role of the United States in it.
