Editorial Note
On November 4, the General Assembly unanimously approved Resolution 808 (IX): Regulation, Limitation, and Balanced Reduction of Armed Forces and All Armaments; Report of the Disarmament Commission; Conclusion of an International Convention (Treaty) on the Reduction of Armaments and the Prohibition of Atomic, Hydrogen, and Other Weapons of Mass Destruction. Under the provisions of the resolution, the Disarmament Commission was instructed to continue its deliberations, reconvene its subcommittee, and report to the Security Council and the General Assembly as soon as sufficient progress had been made.
