On March 26, 1953, during the course of the visit by French Prime Minister Mayer to the United States, the French Delegation discussed with Secretary of State Dulles, Secretary of the Treasury Humphrey, Director of Mutual Security Stassen, and Assistant Secretary of Defense Nash the future role of France in the Western trade control effort.
