Somoza advised Ambassador Whelan that he and Trujillo have agreed on Guatemala and would take care of situation. Venezuela apparently has agreed to cooperate. Details of Somoza–Trujillo agreement and plans not presently available. Source TNN 560 not yet [Page 27] advised of plans but will furnish on receipt. Due to illness and preoccupation with other matters Somoza has not yet briefed DYMAROON on plans but has advised that he will do so. Advise if hqs desirous of receiving information obtained from DYMAROON by cable.
