Tass communiqué appearing Soviet press today announces extension nonaggression pact USSR and China,⁵⁸ points out treaty has been renewed three times since 1937 and that in accordance its provisions treaty will automatically be renewed for additional 2-year period if neither party gives notice of denunciation within 6 months.
