454. For Merchant47 from Landis. What policy have you evolved regarding Sixth Freedom?48 Argentines worried by Peruvian potential acquisition of route to Buenos Aires, putting Peru into Argentina–New York traffic. Same problem presented by Brazil, which, incidentally, now does Sixth Freedom traffic as witness operations Panair Buenos Aires to Paris. We have potentially same problem Montreal–Bermuda, as agreement today specifically grants it, but would you be willing to object to it by, for example, supplementary exchange of notes. [Landis.]
