Reports indicate d’Argenlieu and Leclerc14 lead opposing factions among Indochina French, Leclerc the intransigeant and uncompromising colonial-minded and d’Argenlieu the conciliatory and moderate. Dept would appreciate information from time to time indicating which man and viewpoint has stronger French Govt backing.
