The Soviet Foreign Minister (Molotov) to the Secretary of State67

[Translation]

I agree with your proposal to call in Paris on April 25 a meeting of the Council of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs who, in conformity with the understanding at the Moscow Meeting, are connected with the preparation of peace treaties for the forthcoming conference not later than May 1.

From the Soviet side, instructions have already been sent to London to expedite to the maximum degree the work of the Deputies on the draft peace treaties in order that the questions which remain in disagreement may be considered at the meeting of the Ministers.
