715. ReDeptel 571, March 12. Under date of March 16 the British indicated to us their views,29 which generally coincided with our own, in support of the French request to be represented on the reparation commission to be established in Moscow.
In view of the urgency and importance which the French attach to this question and, in our opinion, of the justice of their claim, please endeavor to obtain an early and favorable decision from the Foreign Office.
Repeated to Paris as 1198 for information.
