Mytel 3572, June 15.46 In view of the fact that Bidault told me last night that instructions had been sent to Massigli agreeing to our suggestions for the French occupation zone the change suggested [Page 340] in Murphy’s 3543, June 14 would have the most lamentable effect on the French at this juncture.47 Copy given to Murphy.
