10. Yunnan–Kweichow Pacification Headquarters has forwarded to Consulate General through the special delegate a report on the Milo incident (telegram No. 6, January 12, 5 p.m.¹³). Although not entirely satisfactory, headquarters Y force agrees with this office that provided Embassy concurs no useful purpose would be served in making further representations. Despatch follows.¹⁴
