Norwegian Series No. 9. Norwegian Government accepts in principle proposal contained in your 9, May 20, 9 p.m.
It desires that details of arrangement be embodied in a formal millitary agreement which it hopes may be concluded at an early date.
[Page 11]Norwegian Government also desires that negotiations regarding these details be carried out in agreement with the British military thorities. This is necessary in order to avoid any conflict with military agreements with the British which regulate strength of Norwegian forces in different areas.
