The Secretary of State refers to the Department’s telegram No. 119 of November 30, 1938,2 regarding the alleged expropriation by the Italian authorities of properties of the Seventh Day Adventist Mission in Ethiopia, and requests the Ambassador to endeavor to ascertain and report what, if any, action has been taken by the Italian authorities as a result of the discussions reported in the Embassy’s telegram No. 356 of December 1, 1938.3
