Peiping’s 573, November 8, noon, and 588, November 16, noon, Japanese interference with employees of the National City Bank.82 Unless you perceive objection or unless the National City Bank at Peiping perceives objection, in which case the Embassy at Peiping is requested to inform you, it is suggested that you take up this matter with the Foreign Office in such manner as you may deem appropriate.83
