I have discussed the matter very fully with the Brazilian Ambassador here, and he assures me that he is absolutely in accord with our own point of view and has so informed his Government. The point he stresses is that it is far more to the interest of Brazil to have American technical experts in the Argentine army than Germans or Italians.
