Referring to Department’s telegram No. 27, June 14, 6 p.m., the President of the Commission received telegrams this morning from the Governments of Honduras and Nicaragua agreeing to the extension of article No. III of the pact December 10, 1937. Honduras accepted for a further period of 6 months; Nicaragua accepted without [Page 263] time limit. This information will be released to local press probably today.
