I send you herewith the papers I have just received from Mr. Oliphant.62 The question came up in Cabinet meeting this afternoon and I gather that the President would like this put through without further delay. Consequently, we should be in a position to express our views with regard to this proposed contract and with regard to the other papers not later than next Monday.
