Your telegram No. 96, September 24, 3 p.m. In the absence of the Foreign Office officials familiar with the matter the revised draft of exchange of notes and draft of supplementary exchange of letters were submitted to the Ministry with a note dated August 25. Although Murray recently found occasion to ask Secretary General to expedite the matter it is doubtful whether actual progress can be made until the return to duty of Acikalin, Chief of Department No. 2 who is now on brief leave after temporary duty in the Hatay.
