The Ambassador in Germany (Wilson) to the Secretary of State

314. Decree dated June 14 has been promulgated which defines “Jewish industrial undertakings” and provides for their registration. Decree also provides that “registration of industrial undertakings in which Jews of foreign nationality are interested requires the approval of the Minister of Economics”. Text going forward by pouch of June 23.³⁹

We have no authoritative information as yet as to how this decree will be applied with respect to non-German Jews but will report thereon as soon as possible.
