Sir: I enclose a copy of a letter dated August 20, 1936, from the Acting Postmaster General,15 together with its enclosures, in regard to the desire of the Post Office Department to acquaint the Irish Free State Government with violations of United States statutes which are being practiced by the Hospitals’ Trust, Limited.
You are requested to take up this matter with the appropriate authorities and to request that steps be taken to prevent further violations of United States statutes.
For your information I enclose a copy of the Department’s recent communication to the Postmaster General on this matter.16
